Ruzai ward members celebrated their ward feast on October 13th at the house of Mr. Stephen Mathew. Mrs. Veena Dsouza welcomed the gathering and gave a small message about the ward's patron saint. Mr. Stephen Mathew and his family placed the holy Bible at the place of honor.
Mrs. Therese Dsouza, the Small Christian Community Coordinator, conducted the prayer. Ward children welcomed the gathering with dance. Mrs. Blessila Periera conducted the Bible quiz. Mr. Royston Pinto conducted a spot game. Mr. Marcel Dsouza escorted the dignitaries to the dais and welcomed them florally. He also welcomed the new families into our ward.
Fr. Onil Dsouza felicitated the SSLC and PUC toppers, Mr. Bonaventure Menzes for getting elected as Lions Club President, Mr. Jason Dsouza for getting elected as Denary YCS Secretary, and Angel Lobo for winning the gold medal in karate at the international level.
Prizes were distributed for the winners of games conducted during the Feast of Nativity. Ward Secretary Mrs. Lidwin D'Costa presented the annual ward report.
Fr. Onil Dsouza conveyed his message on the occasion of the ward feast.
The ward children and teenagers entertained the gathering with cultural activities. Ward members sang the community song.
Mr. Royston Pinto, the ward representative, gave the vote of thanks.
Carmel Convent Sister, Sr. Sunitha A.C., conducted the prayer before meals and all the ward members had lunch together.
