Nithydhar Ward Picnic cum Feast celebrated

 

Feb. 14: Nithydhar Ward Picnic cum Feast celebrated on 13th February 2011 at Soan's Farm, Belvai at 12.00 noon. The new Ward Gurkar Mr Joe D'Costa welcomed all the Ward members, Parish Vice President Mr Jossy Menezes and Secretary Mrs Rita Rego.

 

The fun games like 'Lagori', "Kutti Donne" ,"Tug of war" and some spot games were conducted. All are enthusiastically participated. The prizes were distributed by Dr L.C. Soans and Mr Norbert Rego.

 

The grand lunch was arranged for all.

 

The Ward members expressed their views abouth this Picnic cum feast and suggested to have lively ward meetings in the future. The Ex Gurkar Mr Francis Aranha thanked all the ward members for their support in his 18 years of Gurkarship. And new Gurkar Mr Joe D'Costa requested all to give the support to him.

 

Mr Naveen Miranda and Ms Reena D'Souza conducted the games. Mr Vincent Mascarenhas co-ordinated entire program.

 

The Picnic ended at 4.15 pm.

 

There were 86 people particiapted from 45 familes of the ward.
