Moodbidri, November 3: The much-awaited Bible study series on the Gospels concluded at Corpus Christi Church in Moodbidri on Saturday, November 3, 2024. The final session, held at 3 PM, marked the culmination of an insightful journey through the sacred texts.
Fr. Antony George Pinto, began by invoking divine blessings and briefly recapping the key points from previous classes. He delved into the Gospel according to Luke, highlighting its distinctive writing style and the author's intent. Subsequently, he turned his attention to the Gospel according to John, emphasizing its focus on Jesus' divinity, relationship with God the Father, and his divine mission.
A fascinating revelation was shared about the potential dual authorship of the Gospel according to John, with the Apostle John and a beloved disciple as the likely contributors. Fr. Pinto explained the unique purpose and literary style of this Gospel, providing valuable insights into its profound message.
