July 04: The Saldanha family in memory of their deceased parents Mr. P.V.Saldanha and Mrs. Cecilia Saldanha under the leadership of Felix Walter Saldanha generously gave away scholarships of Rs 5000/- each to the top scorers of our parish in SSLC and PUC Final exams held in March/April 2011.
This year the following students got the awards.

1) Jessica Mascarenhas, Nithyadhar Ward.-SSLC- 92%
2) Reema Pinto, Carmel Ward, PUC(Science)-93.5%
3) Manal R.Pereira,Ruzai Ward,PUC(Commerce) 74.7%
Since there were no student above 60% in the PUC Arts stream from our parish, the allocated Rs 5000/- was donated to Poor Studets Education Fund of the Parish.
The donors have promised that from this year onwards the scholarships will be awarded to the 4 topmost scorers every year with a benchmark of 60%.in SSLC and PUC (3 streams).
The felicitation was done by the parish priest V. Rev. Austin Peter Peres.
