Corpus Christi Church Hosts Advent Prayer Service

On Thursday, December 12, 2024, Corpus Christi Church organized a meaningful prayer service from 3 to 7 PM, drawing a large congregation.

The service began with an intercession prayer from 3 to 4 PM at the Adoration Chapel, led by the intercessory group, who prayed for healing and blessings for the community. This was followed by an uplifting praise and worship session led by Rev. Fr. Abraham D’Souza and Brother Maxim Moras, whose music inspired deep worship.

Rev. Fr. Abraham D’Souza, S.V.D, from the Divine Call Centre, Mulki, delivered a powerful sermon on preparing for the second coming of Jesus, outlining seven steps: seeking the Lord, uniting with God, reading the Word, practicing charity, gratitude for salvation, reconciliation, and waiting for God.

The service included the Holy Eucharistic Mass, Novena to the Infant Jesus, and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The evening concluded with Benediction and a community dinner.
