Nithyadhar ward Annual feast 2023

The Nithyadar Ward Annual Feast 2023, held on July 2, 2023, at the residence of Mark Shanthi D'Souza, was a grand event that aimed to foster unity and create lasting memories for all the ward members.

The event commenced with a prayer and an enchanting welcome dance performed by Viyola and Delisha. The gathering then paid homage to the holy Bible, followed by a prayer service conducted by Mrs. Saritha Mascarenhas. The esteemed guests, including Most Rev Fr Onil D'Souza, Mr. Vincent D'Souza, and Mrs. Celine D'Souza, along with ward gurkar Mrs. Pauline Lasrado and secretary Mrs. Leeda Tellis, were present on stage.

Mrs. Pauline Lasrado warmly welcomed all the guests with floral greetings, setting a joyful tone for the event. The secretary of the ward, Mrs. Leeda Tellis, presented the annual report for the year 2022-23, highlighting the accomplishments and milestones achieved by the ward during this period. In recognition of their participation, children who attended regularly, monthly game winners, and winners of Women's Day were awarded.

Special felicitations were bestowed upon three students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance in their second PUC and Class 10 examinations. Delisha Miranda, an accomplished athlete and participant in various activities, received commendation from Rev Fr Onil D'Souza and other dignitaries on stage. Mark Mendonca read out Delisha's impressive achievements, which were met with applause and admiration.

Rev Fr Onil D'Souza delivered an inspiring message, expressing appreciation for the good deeds and efforts made by the ward members. The sponsors who generously contributed to the success of the feast were acknowledged and honored with floral tributes by the parish priest.

Mrs. Cynthia D'Souza, the ward representative, extended her gratitude through a vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective effort that made the event a resounding success. The children and ladies of the ward entertained the audience with captivating dance performances, while Mrs. Jovita D'Souza conducted engaging games, adding to the festive atmosphere.

A heartfelt group song was sung to honor the patron saint of the ward, further enhancing the spiritual significance of the occasion. The sumptuous food prepared by the talented ward members was blessed by Rev Fr Onil D'Souza, imbuing it with a special significance.

The event was skillfully compered by Binaisha Crasta and Anusha Serrao, who ensured the smooth flow and coordination of the program.
