2014: Novena of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary-8th day

8th Day of Novena

Saturday:  6th  September 2014 :

The Holy mass started at 6.45 a.m. with church full of people carrying flowers to honour Mother Mary in preparation to the nativity feast.

Thought for the day:   Mary is the model of Modesty

Message: Chaste and Pure life pleases God

Special  Intention: To  pray for Vocations

ವಿಷಯ್: ಮರಿ ಮಾಣ್ಸುಗೆಚ್ಯಾ ಜಿವಿತಾಕ್ ಆದರ್ಶ್

ಸಂದೇಶ್: ನಿತಳ್ ನಿಸ್ಕಳ್ ಜಿಣಿ ದೆವಾಕ್ ಮಾನ್ವಾತಾ

ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ್ ಇರಾದೊ: ದೇವ್ ಆಪೊವ್ಣ್ಯಾಂಖಾತಿರ್ ಮಾಗೊಂಕ್

Good tree gives good fruits and bad tree bad fruits.  When we see the children, we come to know type of family they are coming from. The family should mould and train the children as good fruits of the family and pleasing to God.

ಜೆವಾಣ್ ಜೆವಿಜಾಯ್ ಪೊಟಾಕ್ ಭುಕೆಚೆಂ, ನೆಸಾಣ್ ನೆಸಾಜಯ್ ಪೆಲ್ಯಾಕ್ ದೆಕಿಚೆಂ.

Let us remember this old saying and dress and appear modest. Specially our youth should dress and appear formal to public & community. Let us follow Christian fashion that pleases others and not the modern fashion which seduces and tempts others.  

After mass, flower showering ceremony took place followed by novena prayer. Sweets were distributed to all present.
