Feast of St. Vincent de Paul Celebrated at Corpus Christi Church

Corpus Christi Church celebrated the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul during the 7:30 a.m. mass,on 29 September 2024 with Rev. Fr. Maxim Cardoza as the celebrant. Members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) led the liturgy, contributing to the readings and prayers.

In his homily, Fr. Maxim emphasized the importance of living in harmony, helping others, and striving to be the best version of oneself. He encouraged the congregation to embrace the values of St. Vincent de Paul by showing kindness and support to those in need.

At the conclusion of the mass, SVP President Mrs. Rita Rego presented the annual report for 2023-2024, detailing the financial assistance given to needy families within the parish. She acknowledged the community's support in furthering the SVP’s mission of service and charity.

The feast day was marked by a spirit of generosity and solidarity in keeping with St. Vincent de Paul's legacy.
