Silent protest at corpus Christi church

On 23-7-2023 Sunday, after the morning mass ,a powerful and impactful silent protest took place at Corpus Christi Church in Moodbidri, organized by the Catholic Sabha unit. The protest aimed to express solidarity with the suffering tribals of Manipur who have been enduring atrocities in the region.

With a strong display of unity and compassion, the parishoners held placards conveying their messages of concern and urgency. The primary demands of the protesters were directed towards the Central and State Governments of Manipur. They urged immediate action to normalize the situation in the tribal areas and provide the necessary support to help the tribal communities live in peace without further delay.
