Good Friday - A day to reflect and commemorate the Life of Jesus Christ

April 18th 2014: Corpus Christi Church - Moodbidri commemorated the Good Friday, the day of the death of Jesus on the cross by the services starting at 5.00 p.m. The cross is an important symbol on Good Friday because it signifies the way Jesus Christ died.

Today's services included (i) Ministry of the word with a focus on the Passion of Christ (ii) The Solemn Intercession (iii) Veneration of the Cross (iv) The Holy Eucharist.

The Parish Priest V. Rev. Fr Austin Peter Peres and CODP Director Fr Oswald Monteiro conducted the ceremony. More than 2000 devotees took part in the ceremony.

Let us receive the crosses of our life with love and carry them saying to God " Thy will be done"
