Mar. 24: Palm Sunday was celebrated at Corpus Christi Church Moodbidri at 7.30 a.m. mass on March 24, 2013.  Palms were blessed at the church compound and distributed to all attendants.  Procession with palms in hand  to the church was lead by the parish priest V.Rev. Fr. Austin Peres.

The glorious entry of Jesus into Jerusalem was remembered and ‘Hosanna to the King” was sung.

The passion of Jesus to save the mankind was remembered by reading the passion of Christ.  In spite of being a “King” the son of God, He offered himself as a sacrifice on the cross for the sins of mankind.  This the great love of God for us.

We have started the Holy week;  let us come closer to God and spend this week honouring God for His love,  by prayers, penance and sacrifice especially during the Holy week..
