Marian sodality feast celebration at CCC

The Marian Sodality feast celebration at Corpus Christi Church on August 18, 2024, was a spiritually enriching event. The day began with the recitation of the Rosary at 7 AM, setting a reflective tone for the Holy Eucharistic Mass that followed. The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Arun Lobo of the Capuchin congregation.

The celebration was marked by the active participation of thirty-five enthusiastic girls, who were deeply engaged in sodality prayers and activities. The event was notably supported by Mrs. Lavina D'Souza, Sr. Rosy, and Mrs. Violet Tauro, who played crucial roles in guiding and accompanying the members on their spiritual journey.

A highlight of the celebration was the welcoming of seven newcomers who expressed interest in joining the sodality. These new members received blessed scapulars ,books and Rosaries, symbolizing their commitment to the sodality.

Rev. Fr. Onil D'Souza, the Parish Priest, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Sr. Rosy, Mrs. Lavina, and Mrs. Violet for their dedicated efforts in spiritually guiding the members in the footsteps of Mother Mary. He concluded the event by bestowing special blessings upon the Marian sodality members. The celebration was followed by a wholesome breakfast, further fostering a sense of community and fellowship among the members.
