Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha attends SCC meeting in Nithyadhar ward of Corpus Christi Parish, Moodbidri

Nithyadar ward meeting was held at the residence of Vincent & Roopa Mascarenhas on May 28, 2023 at 4.30 pm.The ward people had a surprise. The Bishop who was on a Pastoral visit participated in the SCC meeting.

Mr Vincent Mascarenhas welcomed all. Ward Gurkar Mrs Pauline Lasrado gave the flower pot and flowers to the guests.

Mrs Maria Pereira and Mrs Cynthia Miranda Conducted the ward meeting. Mrs Leeda Tellis presented the report of the previous meeting. 53 ward members were present at the meeting.

V. Rev. Fr Onil D'Souza Parish Priest, Fr Thrishan D'Souza Bishop's Secretary, Sr Leena D'Cunha Superior, Morning Star convent  and  Mrs Theresa Cardoza SCC coordinator were present.

Ms Viyola Lasrado conducted the quiz and games. Winners were given prizes. Those who celebrate the birthdays and wedding anniversaries in the month of May were greeted on the occasion.

Bishop in his message appreciated the enthusiasm and the spirit of coming together for the ward meeting. He also appreciated the children taking part in the prayer service.

Mr Mark Mendonca proposed the vote of thanks.

At the end snacks and coffee were served to all.
