Infant Mary Ward feast celebrated

Infant Mary ward members of Corpus Christi Church, Moodbidri celebrated annual ward feast on 28th August 2022. It began by offering a mass at 7.30am and followed by celebration in the noon.

Just before the celebration, games were conducted for all the ward members with great enthusiasm.

Parish priest V. Rev. Fr. Onil D'souza, the Parish Council Secretary Mr. Ronald Serrao, Gurkar of ward, Mrs. Janet Cordeiro, Co-ordinator of 21 Aayog, Mrs. Sylvia Mascarenhas, Sr. Priya Maria, Sr. Evlin Marie, Sr. Leena were present on the dais.

The celebration commenced with prayer, followed by welcome dance.

Ward Gurkar, Mrs. Janet cordeiro welcomed the gathering. Parish Priest, V. Rev. Fr. Onil D'Souza addressed the gathering. Then the parish Council Secretary, Mr. Ronald Serrao shared his thoughts. There was a felicitation programme for students of ward for their academic excellence in board exams and for Vijoy Cardoza and Glen D'souza for their special achievements. Past Gurkars of our ward, Mr. Immanuel Monis, Mrs Doreen pereira and Mr. Valerian Sequiera were felicitated for their excellent service. Ward Secretary, Mrs. Precilla Serrao shared the annual report.  
 
There were some spot games for the guests, which was followed by four set of dance by the children and ladies of the ward and then a skit. Mr. Ashwin Pereira gave a vote of thanks. The celebration ended with delicious delicacy.
