Monthi Fest Novena - 9th Day

Saturday 7th September 2019: 9th Day of Novena

Today the 9th and last day of the novena. Children came with basket and plateful of flowers to shower on Infant Mary ending the Novena to celebrate the Nativity feast tomorrow.

Thought for the day: Mary teaches children to respect parents (elders)

ವಿಷಯ್: ಮರಿ ಭುಗ್ರ್ಯಾಂನಿ ವ್ಹಡಿಲಾಂಕ್ ವಿಧೇಯ್ ಜಾಂವ್ಕ್ ಶಿಕಯ್ತಾ.

ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ್ ಇರಾದೊ: ವ್ಹಡಿಲಾಂ ಖಾತಿರ್ ಮಾಗೊಂಕ್

Parents take care of the children and do all sacrifices to bring them up.  So it is totally justifying and duty of all children, to listen to the advice and instructions of elders and become good citizens of God’s kingdom.  Children should not forget to take care of their parents when they get old as they become helpless due to their weakness.  This way we will honour our father-mothers. Obedience to parents and elders is what Mary teaches us. Let us pray specially for the elders today.

After mass, flower showering ceremony took place after the novena prayer. Sweets were distributed to all children.
