Sunday 6th November 2016: Catechism Teachers celebrated the feast of their patron St. Charles Boromio during the 7.30 a.m. mass. It was also the Death Anniversary Mass of our late parish priest Fr. John D’souza. As it was the first Sunday of the month the holy hour was conducted at 7.00 a.m. by Fatima ward followed by mass. Rev. Fr. Dr. John Fernandes was the main celebrant with Rev. Fr. Antony Fernandes and V. Rev. Fr. Paul Sequeira as co-celebrants.
The teachers carried the banners of “ಕ್ರೀಸ್ತೀ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಚಿಂ ಮೌಲ್ಯಂ ” and came in procession to the altar. The celebrant garlanded the photo of St. Charles Boromio
Catechism teachers read the reading and conducted the mass liturgy.
We wish them a Happy Feast and success in training our children in church doctrine.
