Mangalore: An emotional farewell to Rev. Fr Austin Peter Peres at Derebail Church on 2nd June 2016.

Send Off to Rev. Fr. Austin Peter Peres: June 2nd 2016. Coprus Christi Church Moodbidri  Parishoners gathered at the church at 2.15 P.M. to give send off to their parish priest to Derebail Church. After the prayers  people boarded the buses and cars to reach Fr. Austin to Derebail Church with the present Parish Priest V.Rev. Fr. Paul Sequeira.  About 150 people were present.

At. 4.00 p.m. Fr. Austin was received by  Fr. Vincent  Menezes,  the parish priest of Derebail Church garlanding him with a welcoming hug. The receiving process took place in presence of Mangalore city Varado Vicar Var V.Rev. Fr.  Victor Machado as representative of Mangalore Bishop.   Fr. Vincent Menezes-Parish Priest,  Anil Patrao VP and Edward Coelho Secretary of Derebail Church welcomed Fr. Austin and introduced him to Derebail Parish. Fr. Anil Lobo Asst. Parish Priest compered the function.

Tea and snacks were served to guests and the parishioners who attend the ceremony.

Moodbidri parishioners bid farewell to their dear Parish Priest Rev.Fr. Austin Peter Peres and  retuned back to their parish.
