ICYM Moodbidri Unit in collaboration with YCS Moodbidri Unit organised Yuva Sparsh

ICYM Moodbidri Unit in collaboration with YCS Moodbidri Unit organised Yuva Sparsh on June 26, 2024 in the Corpus Christi Church Main Hall, Moodbidri.

The program began with a prayer and thereafter the gathering was welcomed by Ishal Rebello.

The resource person was Veena Vas who once served as the General Secretary of ICYM Mangalore Diocese. Rev. Fr. Onil Dsouza- Parish Priest of Corpus Christi Church Moodbidri, Vincent Mascarenhas- ICYM Golden Jubilee Convener, Kevin Dsouza and Royston Pinto- Animators of ICYM Moodbidri Unit, Vijoy Cardoza- Animator of YCS Moodbidri Unit were the dignitaries who attended the program. ICYM Moodbidri Deanery President Javin Dsouza, Treasurer Ronit Fernandes, Joint Secretary Steffi Miranda and Sports Secretary Avita Dsouza also showed their presence in the program.

Veena Vas had an interactive session with the youth. The youth was divided into groups and fun-filled activities were conducted. She encouraged the youth to mingle and participate in the activities. She focused on the importance of spending time with family through activities. Activities involving team support and team building were also conducted.

Mr. Vincent Mascarenhas spoke about the need of the youth to come forward, be active and smart. He encouraged them to join ICYM and YCS. He listed out the advantages of joining these associations.

YCS and ICYM members shared their experience in the association and also provided positive feedback on the whole program. The program concluded with Vote of Thanks by Ishal Rebello. Refreshment was provided to all the participants.
