ICYM Moodbidri Unit Observed Rosary Day

On the occasion of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, ICYM Moodbidri unit observed Rosary Day on Sunday, 23 October 2022.

The program began with two competitions,Interward Rosary making competition and Best Decoration for Mother Mary.

The formal function was presided over by unit director, V. Rev. Fr.Onil Dsouza, Fr. Deepak Noronha and Fr. Dony Cardoza, judges for the competitions, Mrs. Sylvia Mascarenhas-Co-ordinator of 21 commissions,Ishal Rebello-President In Charge and Wilson Tellis-Unit Vice President were dignitaries on the Dias.

V. Rev. Fr.Onil Dsouza addressed the gathering and appreciated the enthusiasm shown by parishioners in the competitions held and expressed his thoughts about rosary day.

Prizes were distributed to all the winners of 2 different competitions.

Ishal Rebello and Josna Fernandes led the prayer service.The Rosary was recited, special intentions were prayed for with every mystery that was recited. To make the rosary more devotional, Marian hymns were sung throughout the Rosary.

This spiritual event brought together the youth and elders of the parish to pray as one family, helping them get closer to the Lord through the intercession of our Mother.

Josna Fernandes rendered a vote of thanks and Clarita Fernandes compered the program.
