Today we celebrate “Teachers Day” in India. Today’s Mass liturgy was organized and conducted by the YCS members.
Thought for the day: Mary is the first teacher of the Christian Education in the family
Message: Parents are the primary teachers of Faith
Special Intention: To pray for all teachers.

Parents are the first teachers of faith to children, so let us teach our children education on faith when we educate them in other fields of worldly life. Teachers are the next source of good education and therefore let us appreciate their sacrifice for our children and pray for them.
In his sermon he compared the family to bow & arrow with shooter. God is the shooter and He utilizes parents to make the children reach the target. Parents have to bend enough so that the children reach the target God has chosen for them.
After the mass children came in line to offer flowers to Mother Mary. Novena prayer was recited and then flowers were showered singing ‘Mariek Hogalsiyan”. Cake was distributed to children and all present for the novena.
“Mother Mary bless our teachers and make them good teachers like you".
