Tuesday, 30th August 2016 - 1st Day of Novena :
The 9 days Novena in preparation for the Nativity Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary started on Tuesday, 30th August, at the Corpus Christi Church – Moodbidri with the Morning Mass at 6.45 a.m. V. Rev. Fr. Paul Sequeira offered the Holy Eucharistic Sacrifice. Many children came with flowers in plates, bowls and baskets to honour Mary. Church was full with parishioners for the Novena.

Family is the basic foundation of human life. Family life is most important vocation.
Let us make our family like the “Holy Family” an example to all. May Mary be inspiration to us. God calls us to our vocation and we should accept His call and live our life according to His will. Good Families give good children. Let our families grow their children like Jesus loving & caring for one another. May God bless our families and keep them in love always.
After the mass “flower throwing ceremony” with the ‘Novena Prayer’ took place in the Church Portico as it was raining. Sweets were distributed to all present for the novena.
